The famous naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace spent a lot of time in Borneo whilst writing his “Law on Sarawak” in 1855, and in particular around the Santubong Peninsular. It was here that he discovered a great many insects and animals, the most famous being “Wallace’s’ Flying Frog”, and it is from this discovery that we have named our bar. The air-conditioned Flying Frog is open from 11.30am offering light bites and full bar services, and is the perfect place to wind down the day with friends old and new.

Above the Flying Frog you will find Lallang Verandah (which translates at 'thatched roof') a large open air decked space which overlooks the pool and has clear views of majestic Mount Santubong. The amazing 20 foot long dining table made from one piece of drift wood, thatched roof and collection of comfortable seating areas make it the perfect place for dining and relaxing.
